MEET THE COMPANY
Tsagaan Alt is a non-profit store and all products sold in Tsagaan Alt are made by home producers who have received their training through the Wool Processing and Marketing Project (WPMP), one of the four projects supported by the Norwegian Lutheran Mission (NLM) in Mongolia.

Tsagaan Alt is managed by the Nooson Zangilaa Cooperative Union (CU). The CU was established through the support of WPMP and NLM in June 2006, to coordinate and unite the activities of 12 production Cooperatives from Ulaanbaatar and Darkhan cities. These Cooperatives are made up of 250 home producers who have all come from disadvantaged backgrounds and all the products sold through the Cooperative Union and Tsagaan Alt provides a valuable income source and opportunity to our producers. These producers have been trained in felt and spinning methods over 10 years through the support of NLM Mongolia.
